Online competitions
Fun, easy to do, free to enter and there are loads of amazing prizes to be won!
How and what you enter all depends on how much time you have, how much effort you want to put in and what you want to win. I've used Loquax for a few years now which is a fab site with hundreds of competitions all listed in one place. The twitter comps are especially quick and easy. No big wins yet.....I can dream though!
Online Surveys
There are loads of sites offering surveys in exchange for cash, points or prize draws.
My personal favourites are OnePoll, Tickbox and Valued Opinions.
Online surveys can quickly get boring and repetitive but if you have the time to spare then go for it.
Focus Groups
Payment can vary from £40-£60 for a 2 hour session and times are often really convenient. The only downside is that you are only eligible to take part once every 6 months and even then you are not guaranteed to be selected. Topics can be interesting and you can meet some lovely people. I'm registered with Saros and Research Opinions but there may be others within your area.
Paper-rounds are not just for kids
I rang up our local free paper last week as we hadn't received it for a while and ended up getting a job! I have been offered 2 delivery routes within my local area which will involve 3 1/2 hours work, one day a week. It's not a massive amount of money but its something I can do after my husband has finished work. Not got started yet but will let you know how I get on.
